OpenAI's Enterprise Market Share Surpasses Anthropic as AI Spending Continues to Expand
Ramp data shows that OpenAI has regained the lead in the U.S. enterprise AI market over Anthropic. In May, Anthropic led with 41% compared to OpenAI's 39%, and by July, Anthropic reached nearly 44% while OpenAI was nearly 40%. However, after entering the third quarter, OpenAI's growth rate surpassed that of Anthropic. The data covers billing and corporate credit card spending from over 70,000 U.S. companies.
